Windows 10: Adding additional email account to Windows 10 Mail

I cannot get Mail to enable additional email accounts. I have one account that runs perfectly. I want to add a further account using the same ISP. The second account is installed using the same server settings as the first with different email address and password but it will not synch.Windows is fully up to date. I have also updated/installed the manufacturers Samsung updates for BIOS and drivers.Why does one account work with Mail but a second does not when the server settings are correct?

I went this route and added passwords for yahoo mail. I might try this method above to get gmail to buck up! *Tongue

YAHOO MAIL FIX
2FA needs to be enabled which it already was and just follow these steps below.

1. In yahoo mails account security, click on manage app passwords.




2. After selecting other app and entering the new app name in the text box




3. Now, in Windows 10 mail app, add this type of account.




4. In Windows 10 mail app, enter your details and the password generated by step 2.




Fully functional mail app again.



GMAIL FIX

Now similar steps to setting up Gmail. Here I'll only go through the Gmail steps as Windows Mail App setup is the exact same.

Yes, once 2-factor authentication is enabled you should then create the app specific password & enter it instead of the account password.

On Windows 10 Mail, I've already added two email accounts with no problem, but the third one I add, I first put my email, then my password, and a totally different email from the one I put in is added to the accounts list.
