Windows 10: Adding an Application icon

Discus and support Adding an Application icon in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; I have a PC (W 10 pro x64) where the installed wireless LAN printer works flawlessly and showing the installation folder (C:\Program Files...     Adding an Application icon


    I have a PC (W 10 pro x64) where the installed wireless LAN printer works flawlessly and showing the installation folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\Browny02\Brother) with the expected Status application icon shows and showing the presence of 90 items. Pictures: 1. Brother Utilities LT, 2. Browny02-Brother-LT

    Not so the same wireless LAN Printer on the other machine (W 10 pro x64) of mine where the expected Status application icon not showing up, in fact the icon in question is missing from the same installation folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\Browny02\Brother) compared first PC and showing the presence of 89 items. Pictures: 3. Brother Utilities DT, 4. Browny02-Brother-DT

    I made a copy of this application icon (BrStMonW); can I drop it into that installation folder that is showing 89 items presence?

    Techpowerup bookmark icon in firefox?

    changed the favicon for the forum
    uploaded a new smaller (bytes) icon for the main site
    added html code to suggest the icon to browsers

    but i still cant get it to show up in firefox favourites

    some application menus not displayed in windows 10

    Hi Vijay,

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community.


    • Are referring any application when you say fn menu?
    I would suggest you to follow the below steps and check smart audio is listed under icons appear on task bar.


    • On system tray right click on date and time

    • Click on customize notification icon

    • Click on Select which icons appear on task bar

    • And see if you are able to see Conexant smart audio
