Windows 10: Adding colours to my palette.

When using the eyedropper I can't see the option to add the colour to my palette.

Can I change the Windows 10 Automatic accent colour palette?

Recent updates to Windows 10 brought back Windows 8's feature where the window/UI color was derived from the current wallpaper: "Automatically pick an accent colour from my background":



However Windows does not pick an actual colour from the wallpaper, instead it picks from its internal palette of about 8 colours, some of which are nice, but others are rather unattractive, such as the "vomit brown" you can see in my screenshot example, even though my current wallpaper is blue and amber.

Is there a way to set the colours in that palette? Are they stored in the registry somewhere or as an embedded resource somewhere else? I couldn't see anything relevant in aero.msstyles unfortunately.

Still not resolved. Anyone else have any other ideas for a solution re my colour palette issue?

sorry, but as i posted earlier, on the 6600 you could change the colour palette but although the options are there on the 6630 and 6680, it actually does nothing. that option has been taken of the n70.

6600 options... wallpaper, COLOUR PALETTE, screen saver and ICONS on default or downloaded themes.

the only options there are when you edit a theme on the n70 are...wallpaper, powersaver and image in goto on default or downloaded theme
