Adding drivers to Windows 11 Installation media, from linux

Hi,I have recently upgraded my laptop and plan on giving the old one to my sibling. However, as they are not particularly tech-savvy they would prefer to have windows 11 reinstalled. From my new laptop running Kubuntu 24.04, I downloaded the Windows 11 iso International English and managed to write it to my only USB drive32gb. Unfortunately, whenever I try to install the OS, it tells me there are no drivers and I cannot figure out how to get them to the laptop or where to find them. The laptop is a Dynabook Satellite Pro E10-S-10Q I know that it supports Windows 11 as I had it running for s

  2. Windows 7 wont install drivers

i dont think anyone here understands what your asking either when its nearly a 90% english dominated Tech forum.
    Step 1
    reinstall windows from scratch
    Step 2
install all drivers from the cd that came with the god damn motherboard *common sense*
    Step 3
    update windows
    Step 4
install misc etc crap like flash java etc etc
    Step 5
    Install GPU drivers
    Step 6
go back to using your pc without issue.

  3. Installing windows 11 cant find drivers.

    Hello Abdullah Rafiq1

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community.

Based on your current description, it seems that you have encountered a problem when installing Windows 11 from USB media. After a lot of inquiries, woeusb seems to be a third-party USB bootable disk creation tool, which seems to be more commonly used in Linux systems, so the installation process of USB bootable disks made by such third-party tools is beyond our support.

Assuming that you really need to install Windows 11 via USB media, I recommend you to use the official tools to create a USB media and follow the steps in the following article or video to boot from USB and install Windows 11

Before installing, I suggest you enable the BIOS secure boot inside, and make sure your disk format remains in GPT format to ensure that Windows 11 can be successfully installed. Regarding the need to allocate additional space to the disk to install the Linux system, there is a disk partition tool during the USB installation process. At that time You can assign partitions according to your disks.

    1. Download Windows 11 (microsoft.com)

    2. Reinstall or clean install Windows 11 - Microsoft Community
Additionally, here is a video that may show you how to do this:

After the installation is complete, all your drivers will be updated by Windows to match you with the most suitable drivers for the current version. If one of your hardware is more suitable for the driver provided by the OEM manufacturer, I also recommend that you contact the HP community or HP technical support, they may have targeted insights on the driver for the specific model.

As for how to properly install a Linux system on Windows, I also recommend that you ask questions in the Github community. Members of the Microsoft section in the Github community may have encountered similar situations:

Feel free to reply if anything is unclear.

    Best regards,
