Windows 10: Adding/installing Ukrainian Language with the ЯШЕРТИ keyboard layout

In previous versions of Windows i.e. Windows 7, when I would add/install a Ukrainian language, most of the letters those with identical/similar sounds would match the English letters on the keyboard, this Ukrainian keyboard layout is known as " ЯШЕРТИ". now in Windows 10 the only layout that's available to be added/installed is the "йцукен” layout. This is the layout where none of the letters match, and which is normally used on cell phones, etc. is there still a way to somehow add the " ЯШЕРТИ" keyboard layout in Windows 10, which was something we were able to do in the previous versions

Keyboard layouts and language settings appearing out of nowhere

I've had a similar problem, Initially I've had 2 keyboad layouts, English and russian. Then after one of the updates the system got 2 additional keyboard layouts for Ukrainian (which actually was not installed at all). I've deleted russian language, rebooted
and voila - the two Ukrainian and one russian keyboard layouts were disappeared. I've added russian language/keyboard and now I've got 2 keyboad layouts, English and russian, as it was initially. F*you very much, Microsoft!

 

The extra keyboard layout keep adding to my language bar (with Pics)

The updated Windows 10 may have detected your language, the reason why it automatically gave you the other Thai US keyboard. To correct this issue, we suggest that you follow these steps:

• Click on the Start Menu, type in region and language settings and select it.
• Under Languages, select Thai Kedmanee keyboard and click Remove.
• Lastly, add it back by clicking Add a language.

After these steps, your keyboard layout will permanently stay with Thai Kedmanee keyboard.

A new keyboard layout is added without intention

I am using Windows 10, 1903, build 18362.720.

I have two languages installed: English and Ukrainian (see picture below).





My language of the user interface is Ukrainian.

I have two keyboard layouts activated: English US and Unkrainian.

However, sometime a Russian keyboard layout is added without intention and I am not sure what causes that. I can remove it since it is not present the list of keyboard layouts. I spent some time searching for a solution on the Internet and none of the existing
solutions have helped.

Could you please tell me how can I block automatic installation of the Russian layout? Currently, I am adding and removing Russian language and fix it that way. However, it is a temporary solution. After some time it appears again.
