    Adding PowerShell Desktop to Naviagtion Pane?


    Hey all.

    Is there a way to add "Desktop" in file explorer's navigation pane as it's own shortcut?

    Currently the only way to do that is through quick access, and even then for some reason it does not show the following icons if you have enabled them on desktop (This PC, User, Control Panel, Recycle Bin, Network).

    What I am trying to do is similar to the available tutorials but for Powershell Desktop (accessing desktop C:\Users\user\desktop in file explorer does not show all icons)

    PowerShell instead of Commandline in Creators Update

    Interestingly enough my personal laptop just got the update...and still has Command Prompt listed, not PowerShell...

    Edit: Not that it matters...I use both regularly. *Toast :toast:

    Thank you so much for your reply.

    What I really need to know is how get the video to play in the preview pane. Prior to Windows 10, this worked wonderfully and was an asset. Now, it requires making changes to the Windows registry - not recommended due to the enormous amount of issues with
    Windows 10.

    Any other suggestions?
