Windows 10: Adding Users and Downloads

I bought Minecraft for my son to put on our old laptop. I purchased it under "dadsprofile". I set him up a user profile on the same laptop under "kidsprofile". But when we use his profile to login I can not get Minecraft to download to his account, it only shows up when I sign in to "dadsprofile". I tried logging in under "kidsprofile" and going to Microsoft-recent purchases, and reinstalling download to another device but is keeps saving it to "dadsprofile" Thanks in advance.

Current active users that are friends

The other reason I suggested this is that users can add characters to their username that are not alphanumeric (e.g. user*). This confuses things somewhat when looking at the list.
