Windows 10: addinprocess.exe

I have a Dell E6430 laptop I-5, 8 GB RAM, 2 TB Seagate SSD with the latest version and upgrades of Windows 10 pro and 50% of my CPU is being used by addinprocess.exe. I have run MSCONFIG and disabled all non-microsoft software, I've removed net framework 4 but the problem still exists. I have run a full scan for malware and I'm running Windows Defender with no other antivirus. What else can I do?

NESHTA.A VIRUS REMOVED BUT .EXE NOT WORKING

• Does this happen with a specific application or with all of your application?
• Have you tried creating a new admin account to check if the issue also with new account or only with the current account?

USB drive will not run exes.

To assist you better, I would like to ask if you have installed any Antivirus in the Laptop.

I suggest you to run the program in compatibility mode by following the steps provided below and check if the issue persist.

• Right click on the “.exe” file of the program and select properties.
• Under Compatibility tab, check the option for “Run in Compatibility mode”.
• Select the Operating System from the drop down list.
• Click on Apply and OK.
