Windows 10: AddInUtil.exe - what is it?

Hello,My Smart App Control has just blocked a process called "AddInUtil.exe". Can you explain what that is, and whether or not it is safe?Thank you,ET

Why cant I delete AddInUtil or AddInProcess from my task manager? This is significantly slowing my computer down!

2. Terminate Processes:
   
   • You can try terminating AddInUtil and AddInProcess from the Task Manager. To do this:
     
     1. Open Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc or Ctrl + Alt + Del and select Task Manager).
        
     2. Find AddInUtil and AddInProcess in the list.
        
     3. Right-click on each of them and choose "End Task".
        
3. Clean Boot:
   
   • Perform a clean boot to start Windows with a minimal set of drivers and services. This can help you determine if a third-party application or service is causing the problem.
     
     1. Press Windows + R, type msconfig and press Enter.
        
     2. Go to the Services tab, check "Hide all Microsoft services", and then click "Disable all".
        
     3. Go to the Startup tab (or go to Task Manager -> Startup in Windows 10 and later), and disable all startup items.
        
     4. Restart your computer.

NESHTA.A VIRUS REMOVED BUT .EXE NOT WORKING

• Does this happen with a specific application or with all of your application?
• Have you tried creating a new admin account to check if the issue also with new account or only with the current account?
