Windows 10: Additional keys change when selecting Norwegian language

I am able to select Norwegian when typing but once I select Norwegian, other keys that have nothing to do with typing the Norwegian characters are altered. So to clarify, there are three extra vowels in the Norwegian alphabet. Once I select the language I have to press the [ for å, ; for ø and ' for æ. This all works fine but then when I want to type @ I get instead ". This happens with most of the other special characters. I would expect that only the three keys needed would change but I have to switch the language back to English when I need a special character. Am I missing something?

I appreciate your effort on this. I understand that you see Norwegian keyboard when you switch between the input languages. As you have checked the installed keyboard languages using PowerShell and didn’t find the keyboard language, I suggest you to
refer the troubleshooting steps mentioned below and see if you are able to find the keyboard language:

1. Press Windows key + R, to open
   Run dialog box.
   
2. Type lpksetup and click on
   OK.
   
3. Click on Uninstall display languages.
   
4. If you find Norwegian keyboard listed, click on it and click on
   Next.
   
5. Follow the on-screen instructions to remove the language pack.

N80 - change of language from English to Norwegian

Hi.

I have a N80 bought in England. When I got it to Norway I took it to the repairshop for changing the language to Norwegian.

But the other day I decided to upgrade my firmware and what happens next is that everything is in English and Norwegian are nowhere to be found.

Where can I fix this? Besides going back to the repairshop..

Is the firmware coming with Norwegian language in the future?

I suggest you to check if you are able to change the language in the lock screen by following the steps below:

• In the lock screen click on the last icon from the right.
• Select English from the menu.

If this option is not available, in the lock screen, hold the Windows key and use Space bar key to change language.
