Windows 10: Adjust IPv4 settings as USER

Hello! I have scoured the googles for help in finding a SOLUTION to having a USER be able to adjust Ethernet IPv4 settings.


I already added the user as a member to the Network Configuration Operators under Computer Management > Local Users and Groups > Groups. It did not allow the user to adjust the Ethernet settings. When double clicking on the Ethernet option in the Network Connections window, an error pops up that states "Network Connections. An unexpected error occurred."

Adjust brightness settings in Windows 10

2. From where exactly are you trying to adjust the brightness?

I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

• Type Settings in the Search bar and then Enter.
• Click on the System and then Notifications and Actions which is available on the Left pane.
• Click on Add or Remove quick Actions.
• In the make sure that the Brightness is ON.
• Then click on the Action Center and adjust the Brightness according to your preference.

The other reason I suggested this is that users can add characters to their username that are not alphanumeric (e.g. user*). This confuses things somewhat when looking at the list.

issue is isolated with one user profile or with multiple accounts.

To create a test user profile, follow these steps:

• Using Cortana search, type Settings and then hit the Enter key.
• In the Settings window, select Accounts.
• Select Family & other people.
• Choose Add someone else to this PC.
• Click I don't have this person's sign-in information.
• Click Add a user without a Microsoft account.
• Name the user as TEST and then provide a password.
