    I have a 5.1 surround system connected to my windows 8.1 PC at home. This system itself had a physical volume knob that could be turned to increase or decrease the sound of the 5.1 system. This system is not connected to the windows software for sound, Now the volume knob on this system has broken while the system was at maximum volume. In the windows sound mixer the volume is set to 3, which makes the sound somewhat acceptable. However, this is not an optimal solisng, because now there is a constant noise coming through the speakers of the 5.1 system. My question: Is it possible to turn

    How to use PowerShell to modify sound volume?

    You should leave the default audio volume at 67% (minus 6 db) so that it won't clip when explosion sound suddenly gets loud. Adjust your volume using your speakers' physical volume knob.

    Go and watch Mandalorian season 2 trailor on youtube, the loud explosions never clip the signal meter if you set the default sound to minus 6 db.

    HD7 Volume knob question...

    Hi,

    I purchased the HD7 on December from a T-mobile store in Chicago. I noitced that the volume knob was flimsy, but didn't think much of it(I know dumb...) The 14 days of return are long gone and now this flimsy volume knob constantly rattles when the phone
    vibrates or when I move it. The knob works, but it's just the high pitched sound that it porduces everytime it rattles that's driving me crazy.

    Am I the only one with this problem or are there more out there(because I know of 3 others that had the same problem)... is the only way to fix this through HTC?

    Volume step adjusting?

    How can I change the step of the volume adjustment in windows? Now it adjusts by 2 every time I press volume up or down buttons on my keyboard (without any driver) or rotate the mouse wheel 1 step after clicking on the volume icon - I would like to change
    that value to 1, 5 or even 10, how can I do that? is there a key in the registry to do it?
