Windows 10: Adjust Task Bar on One Screen

Hello,

For work I have a laptop and two monitors. About a year ago, I raised the task bar on my left monitor (my laptop sits in front of it, so moving the task bar up makes sure nothing is sitting behind my laptop screen). This worked well for a year, I never had to adjust settings.

Last week my computer decided to default back to the original task bar size on this monitor and any time I increase it it does so on my other connected monitor as well. I do not want the task bar to change on my other monitor since I can see 100% of it.

I messed around in the task bar options and can't seem to find anything to fix this. Surely there is a way to do so being as I did it in the past (without changing settings).

Cannot modify Task Bar settings

Hi,

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if the issue persists.

• Right click on the Task Bar.
• Uncheck the option " Lock the Taskbar."

Most likely Tablet Mode, as dmholt57 suggests.

Turn On or Off Tablet Mode in Windows 10

Another posibility is accidentally pressing F11 which switches a browser to full screen mode.
