  1. Adjusting touchpad deadzone from low input.

HelloI produce music on a laptop, which means a lot of finnicky click-to-drag on edges of notes to resize them.Is there a way to reduce or remove the lower limit for input on the touchpad? It seems plainly obvious that it's ignoring my finger draging the touchpad because I'm only moving my finger a very short distance, would make sense to have this be a thing in most usecases so your mouse doesn't jitter when you're holding it down, but for my usecase I need this removed. Is there a way to do this? I've looked at the basic touchpad sensitivity option, but only moderatly helpful, I already have

    :)

Windows Touch click and drag delay/deadzone

It seems there is a deadzone where a click-drag does not register. You have to drag past this for anything to happen. Needless to say, this is problematic for the accurate manipulation of anything. Is there a way to disable or adjust this deadzone?

It was mentioned here a few years ago with respect to pen input specifically: Redirecting

Sadly, this is a major issue for both input methods for anything requiring even moderate accuracy.

I want to adjust sensitivity of my Touchpad

Hello Janeth, I'm Sam, an Independent Adviser. Glad to assist and help with your question.

Follow the next steps one by one to adjust sensitivity in the Settings.

    1. Go to Start to look for Settings.

    2. Find Devices and then Touchpad.

    3. Click on the Taps and then on Touchpad sensitivity.

    4. Select the type of sensitivity you prefer from the drop-down list.

Do let me know if you have any more questions or require further help.

    can't change double-click speed

    Hi,

Adjusting Precision Toucpad can be done under Toucpad Settings. To do so, see the steps below:

    • Press Windows key and type touchpad in.
    • Click on Touchpad Settings.
    • Under Taps, you will see Touchpad sensitivity. It will give you the options:
Most sensitive. High sensitive. Low sensitive.

Let us know if the suggestion helped you out.
