Windows 10: Admin account on new windows 11 dell.

My new dell won't even update drivers because it says I need an admin account. i only have one account I used to set this up and its mine. There are no other accounts. I've looked it up and they give me this go to settings< accounts< family and others- but there is no family and others tab- and I've tried every other way I've seen on google as well but they all stop me because I can't even open the windows without an admin account.

Remove account

I suggest you backup your personalized files first before removing the account.
To delete an account, follow these steps:

1. Press WIN + X keys and click Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu.
2. Type the following command and press Enter. Replace test with the name of your sister's account. Code:

 

admin password?

You can reset the Admin Password using Windows XP repair; See Here for step by step.

Win 10 - no admin account

If you are unable to create a new user account, try to enable the in-built administrator account and check.



To do so, follow the steps.

• 
  Press Windows + X. Click on command prompt (admin)
  
• 
  Type the following command and hit enter
  
  net user administrator /active:yes
  
• 
  Log out and sign in to the default admin account and try to add a new admin user.
