    Admin is preventing you running this app


    Hello - I recently installed a game and when I tried to run it I rec'd the following error: "an admin has prevented you from running this app - for more info contact the administrator". But I am the one & only Administrator for my small LAN 2 Laptops & 1 Desktop and no additional inormation is provided by the error. Can anyone provide additional info or a clue about where to find the mysterious administrator?

    I assume you don't have 'exit' anywhere in your batch file?

    Rather than playing with 'pause' - if you want to see the output...

    1. Open a command window as admin
    2. Run the batch file manually
    3. Command window will not close unless the 'exit' command is issued
    4. Read output
    That's the first step I'd take to diagnose. Then run every line in your batch file manually, one-by-one, in your admin command window (copy and paste from the actual batch file, don't retype the commands).

    You'll soon find your problem.

    Preventing access to modern app

    Ive been tasked with preventing the children from accessing instagram. I've got it listed in my windows hosts file and internet options/security/restricted site but the windows 10 app is still allowing access. Any suggestions other then deleting app which can just be reinstalled?
