Windows 10: Admin Lockout

Discus and support Admin Lockout in Windows 10 Installation and Upgrade to solve the problem; We have a Surface Pro that was used by an employee.     Admin Lockout


    We have a Surface Pro that was used by an employee. I am trying to reset it but it keeps asking for the Admin login but we do not know what it is. The employee is an older gentlemen and doesn't know it either. How can I get around the admin settings in order to reset it.

    admin password?

    You can reset the Admin Password using Windows XP repair; See Here for step by step.

    running DOS as ADMIN

    I suggested that in post #4 but @bromberg doesn't seem to have tried it yet...

    Admin Lockout

    Admin override account lockout policy w10?

    I have setup account lock out policies for to many incorrect passwords for local users on a W10 pro machine.

    The lock out policy has been triggered, i am an admin for the machine and have an admin account on there, is there a way i can over ride the lockout for this standard local user ?
