    I accidently changed roles for all accounts on my computer to something other than administrator. I've tried multiple ways to fix this but I can't.Command Prompt: Access is denied.Admin Command Prompt: Can't run without admin.Admin Command Prompt on restart menu: Doesn't want to work.netplwiz: Can't open without admin and using .bat file shows access is denied..bat file: Works depending on the app and when it asks for admin perms.Family & Other Users: Doesn't show up and I used ways on forums but it needs admin.Please help me fix this.     Hi

    Thank you for coming back to me, i have explored all the options you have suggested, but in each instance i an asked to do the task with elevated privileges. The only active account on this laptop is the standard user, which is what i use to login with.

    I hope this makes sense.

    Admin account still does not have permission

    • Are there specific files, folders or programs that has the access denied error message?
    • Yes - the exact details are in the link I supplied - trying to change an account to Full Control

    • Have you made any recent changes to your computer?
    • No

    • What antivirus software are you using?
    • Webroot - it was disabled

    • Aside from the current Admin account that you're using, are there other user accounts on your computer?
    • One other also an admin account

    Admin Permission - disable

    I disabled UAC so I wouldn't get asked about permissions but in Win 10 this apparently doesn't work. How do I turn off the message that asks to provide Admin permission? Thanks
