    On my daughters laptop she is listed as admin under her name.
    Update was just installed, I thought it was 1709 but it was 1703.
    I went to run mrt and a box comes up saying no admin rights contact administrator.
    Any help appreciated

    Problem with Skype Mobile in Windows Mobile 6

    At the user's request, we got the HTC TyTN II phone. This smartphone has Windows Mobile 6 and Office package on it and with Skype.



    Initially, there was a problem to get it working on Roger's Wireless. After a certain "fix" (thanks to the forum) we were able to get the Internet part working on Roger's Wireless so that Exchange email will flow down to the HTC and into Outlook via wireless
    (not just WiFi)--without Blackberry Connect.



    We just tested Skype over wireless and WiFi. No issues at all.



    We're just going to test out Live Messenger, Yahoo Messenger, GTalk and even the Microsoft Portrait (video conferencing).



    Will update in this forum...



    I'm looking forward to getting that HTC Diamond or Samsung Anycall for Windows Mobile 6 testing and to work with our Exchange 2003 (and Exchange 2007 later on).

    Microsoft Update Catalog - Search, selection, and downloads needs improvement....

    Not to be a pain...but Microsoft Update Catalog needs a lot of work.

    I am trying to download updates for Windows 10, or Windows 2012 R2.

    However, the search resulted in 1000. There is no option to filter the search either to narrow down the search results.

    There's no button or option to select all and to download all. Instead, I have to download EACH ONE. That means, I have to click each one more than once which will result in over 1000 clicks. This task is time-consuming and exhausting. Not ideal and
    not practical.

    The reason being is that I need to download them so that I can service the INSTALL.WIM for Windows 10 & 2012R2 for deployment.

    Looks like your user account is standard user account which has permission to do anything that does not involve system wide changes.
    Administrator accounts should be used only to install or modify software and to change system settings.

    Sorry, I don't follow, mrt is Microsoft removal tool, on my computer I have same rights and it runs, also I don't know why even at her level she cannot run a tool from Microsoft to remove malicious software.
