    Administrative Policies on New Surface Go Laptop


    I just purchased new surface go laptop about two days ago for school and had decided to upgrade to Windows 11, I went through the steps online to check if my laptop was ready for the update but i had a few updates that needed to be installed beforehand, so I got those installed and then tried to download the windows pc health check app where I then tried to open this file and was prompted with a message saying "The system administrator has set polices to prevent this installation." I did not set up any admin policies about downloads so i am very confused and upset with this situation because i

    This doesn't list the "Surface Laptop", but you might give it a try to see.

    *Arrow Boot Microsoft Surface from a USB device

    Otherwise, you should be able to use OPTION ONE below to boot from the USB from advanced startup.

    Administrative Policies on New Surface Go Laptop

    Administrative template missing in group policy editor.

    I have Windows 10 version 1909 (OS Build 18363.1171).I want to speed up the loading of thumbnails in the file explorer for pdf files. I went to this article and it lists the steps that involve editing the group policy. https://www.guidingtech.com/speed-up-thumbnail-loading-windows-10/


    Unfortunately, I am not getting the administrative template in my group policy editor and cannot proceed.
