Windows 10: Administrative Right Issues Win 10

Hello guys, I've been having a mayor issue with my system so far, I'm getting Access Declined or that I'm not signed into an Administrative account. Now I only seem to get this issue in to cases as far as I know, One is when I attempt to use my Defragment and Optimize Drive, when I open this App up, I get the following...




I would select the Remove Customized Settings, I get the following...



So I'll try the second option, and it will just close and nothing comes up.

Second Issue is when trying to adjust the the Gamma on my display from the Calibrate Color Display Settings



I'll bring the gamma down since I feel my display is a bit bright and whites too high, after I try to save it I get this...




I am marked as an Administrator and not a Standard User, in fact I can't even select the option for standard user, it's grayed out, Please help what can I do?

Administrative Rights rightclick option has been lost for about a year now......

I have had this issue for about 1 year now in Win 10. I am currently using Win Home v 10.0.15063

This issue started after 1 or 2 OS updates after the original install of Win 10 in 2016.

Not sure which vs was the culprit for starting this problem.

The issue being that when I right-click on an application, and then right-click on the context menu to run as Administrator, I should to be able to open as Administrator, yet I cannot.

I have tried to open any selected app through the Start Menu, File Explorer or via the Toolbar with no success.



I believe is a very important issue, as many times when Administrator privileges are needed, I don't have them even though I am the Administrator of my machine.

Also, if I am already logged in as Local Administrator and Account Administrator, I believe that I should have access to the Administrative files necessary at the time, yet I do not.

Whats the cause of this issue and how to fix?

Win 10 Administrator Rights Not All Available

I don't believe that will make any difference.

The Home version of Windows does not have some of the 'pro' tools as you have found. In most cases you can still perform the actions, just using the user tools in Control Panel as opposed to the snap ins you are obviously used to.

The Win 10 upgrade installed the appropriate version of Win 10 according to the version of the qualifying OS used had. Home for Home, Pro for Pro etc.

You can pay to upgrade to the Pro version if you wish, but having used both Home and Pro I have yet to find anything I couldn't do on the Home version using Control Panel or googling for registry mods.

You can even add 'God Mode' to Home versions if required. (Google/Bing is your friend)
