    Administrator Properties: Windows 10


    Have a PC running Windows 10 with only one User Account. I have completely updated it, defragmenter, optimized it. What more could a PC want? My name and the title Administrator is greyed out as a User. There are a few old files that are stuck in my computer and refuse to be deleted because a Red Warning Box appears that reports I am prohibited from doing so and need to check with my Administrator. I have searched high and low for an area with User Properties where I can make sure that I have the full ability to make changes to my computer as I see fit. Where is this? I cannot find it a

    Windows 10 Tweaks

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    Hi Paul,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community and thank you for your interest in Windows 10.

    I suggest you to follow the below steps how to go to printer settings.

    • In the search box type “control panel”.
    • Click on “device and printers”.
    • Then you can right click on your printer and then click on properties, change accordingly.
    I suggest you to follow the below article if you face any issues with printer and check if it helps.
