Windows 10: Administrator rights changed on windows 10

Dear All,I had administrator rights in W10 64 but in my PC and today I realized that it changed and I am not able to install anything. I only use this PC, no one else. I have legal license for w10 and up to date. W10 installed on oct 2019, run well since then.Is it possible that it caused by last update of w10? Before this not happened like this. Or can be malware? I have legal Kaspersky account as well and up to date.Thank you for the support.

No Administrator Rights On The PC (Windows 10)

Step 1:

To start Windows 10 in safe mode with command prompt:

• Press Windows + I keys on the keyboard to open Settings menu.
• Select Update & security and click on Recovery.
• Go to Advanced startup and select
  Restart now.
• After your PC restarts to the Choose an option screen, select Troubleshoot
  > Advanced options > Startup Settings >Restart.
• After your PC restarts, select a startup setting as Safe Mode with command prompt by pressing the corresponding number.

Step 2:

Follow the below steps to enable Built in Administrator:

• 
  Open Command Prompt from Windows Recovery Environment.
  
• 
  Copy and paste the below command and press Enter.
  

net user administrator /active:yes

3. Close the Command Prompt.

4. Try to login though Built in Administrator and change the other user account privileges to Administrator.

5. You may create new user account also and assign the administrative privileges to the account.

How to change main administrator on Windows 10 for HP?

Kindly try the below steps to change the account type from Admin to Standard account and check if this helps.

• Press Windows key + X.
• Select Control Panel.
• Click on User accounts.
• Under make changes to your account, click on
  Manage another account.
• Select the account which you want to change.
• Now click on change the account type.
• Select Standard
  and click on Change the Account Type to change the account type.

To enable the built in admin account, I suggest you to follow the below steps and check.

• In search type "cmd" and right click on the command prompt and open as Administrator (Elevated command prompt).
• In the elevated Command Prompt, type the following command and then press Enter key.

Net user administrator /active:yes, close the Command Prompt.

• Restart PC, then you will be able to see Administrator account.

To hide the Admin account, use the below command:

net user administrator /active:no
