    Adobe Flash Player

Hi,Adobe Flash Player comes with Win 10,I have it enabled but recently went onto an account to pay a bill online (using Edge browser) and it said I needed the latest version of Adobe Flash,Adobe site tells me Flash is built into Win 10. Internet Explorer gives me access to my account and enables me to manage my account online, are there any settings in Edge I need to look at or options to get the latest version of Flash Player,Thanks

    :)

There is no version of Adobe flash player that runs on windows phones. Adobe has discontinued development of its mobile flash player so there will never be a version of Adobe flash player for windows phone.

disable hardware acceleration in Flash Player:

Go to this Adobe Flash Player Help page

    .

Right-click on the Flash Player logo on that page.

Click on Settings in the context menu. The Adobe Flash Player Settings screen will open.

Click on the icon at the bottom-left of the Adobe Flash Player Settings window to open the Display panel.

Thanks C G, When I sign into my account the option to allow Click and run of Flash does not appear, seems this is a problem for other users of Edge when they want to use online banking. When I go on the Adobe Flash site there is a box "Test Flash Player" which I opened to be told Flash is disabled but in my Edge settings I have it enabled,i'm at a loss

said I needed the latest version of Adobe Flash

I have encountered the same issue with some sites, but was able to complete my purpose (not a banking site) by using another browser.

Be wary. It may be the site needs to update or an issue with Edge - or possibly a malware attempt. Recommend not using the site to update Flash.

You also have to click on the puzzle piece Icon on right of Address Bar and 'Allow once' or 'Always Allow'.
Every website has to be enabled individually.

Excuse my ignorance, could you please explain what "puzzle piece" is, The Allow Once or Always Allow are not given as an option in the account page I am trying to use.

  9. I've enjoyed the same behavior. Even thought about using IE to see if it would update Flash Player. Then one day through Windows Update I got a Security Update for FP and haven't encountered an update message since.

In the top right corner of Edge next to the Settings icon, etc,, at times will appear a "puzzle piece" (icon that looks like a puzzle piece). If Flash is blocked, click and it will offer to allow.

However, in my experience that icon is not always available when some sites block Flash.

Forgive me but I would like to reopen this topic,Flash blocked on my ISP account, I installed Opera browser and installed Flash player for Opera,I am able to use my account after enabling Flash for all sites in Opera settings.I logged into my account using Edge and found that the puzzle piece to allow Flash was available in the top right corner, this has never been an option since I have been using Edge, could it be related to my installing Flash for Opera? Anyway my problem has been solved but I don't know how *Smile
