Windows 10: Adobe IPC Broker

If I click to end Adobe IPC Broker's task, is there anything that's going to happen to Windows? Task Manager says that if I end this task, my system will be disrupted. So, should I end it?

Autorun setting for Adobe CC app not persisting after setting to off

Hello Dave and Iacrumb, thank you both for replying. Iacrumb, I haven't tried disabling it in task manager but that will be something I try, thank you for the suggestion.

I made a list of the Adobe CC related items I find in task manager when I asked for help from the Adobe forums. When my computer starts this is what's shown in there:

Adobe IPC Broker

Adobe Update Service

CCLibraries

CCVProcess

Core Snyc

Creative Cloud

I've made sure that sync is off in the CC desktop app to ensure that isn't causing the issue.

I have Revo UP as well and in the autorun manager there this is what is showing in startup:

Application restart #0

Application restart #1 Both located in Reg HKCU RunOnce

Adobe creative cloud located in Reg HKML 32bit Run

AdobeGCInvoker-1.0

AdobeAAMUpdater-1.0 located in Reg HKML Run

Adobe Genuine Monitor Service

Adobe Genuine Software Integrity Service located in Services

Dave, would it be one of these? I've unchecked them all in Revo and it controls Adobe well, but to have dead silence from them and an app that continues to override my choices makes me really nervous.

  Select Default Programs.
  
• 
  Click on Adobe Reader and set that application as Default.
  

If the issue persist follow the steps below.

• 
  Open Default Program.
  
• 
  Click on Associate a file type or protocol with a program.
  
• 
  Select any pdf file Extension.
  
• 
  Click on Change program.
  
• 
  Select Adobe Reader.
