  1. Adobe vs Edge (how to ensure adobe STAYS my default app)

My organization pays for adobe pro, so I like my pdf default app to be adobe. Unfortunately, Windows/Microsoft/?? keeps overriding my default settings. I use adobe files extensively. As a result, I find myself resetting the default app setting 4-5 times a day (yes, I've started tracking this). As I'm up to 10 times today, and it is only 2 o'clock, I am quite annoyed. To be clear, I'll be working and I'll notice my screen flicker and sure enough, my default app has been reset to Edge. Something behind the scenes. Whether I'm in adobe, or out of it, doesn't seem to matter...

Any suggestions on how I can keep Microsoft/Windows/?? from overwriting my default preferences? My internet browser and other apps don't change default, just adobe.

Adobe pro is far superior to Edge for working with pdf's. I want this to stop. Any suggestions?

    :)

Adobe vs Edge (how to ensure adobe STAYS my default app)

Edge keeps replacing Adobe as default PDF viewer

Microsoft Edge keeps reverting to the default PDF viewer and it's extremely frustrating. I believe it occurs whenever I unzip files using winzip. I know how to reset the default application but it's time consuming doing it once or twice every day and shouldn't
    be necessary.

Why does it keep changing back to Microsoft Edge and how can I stop this?

Can i remove Microsoft Edge completely?

Why does Adobe not appear in the default programs list? How can I add this to the list as if it did appear the steps to change the default viewer would be quicker.
