Issues with syncing device player with Windows media 12 and groove music on Windows 10.

• Are you able to sync other player to the Windows Media Player 12? I can put the music on my player BUT ANY WMA file will not convert to MP3 for USB port plug in to car radio. Previous version of windows media player converted files to MP3 automatically
  when synced with a media device. Someone else asked this question and the fix was to go into options click background and change the CODEC to do it. This option is grayed out and does not allow for the change from WMA to MP3 format apparently Pioneer car radios
  do not agree with the Microsoft WMA format.
• Are you getting any error message? Only on my media device (Sansa player) and car radio saying WMA format not supported
• What are the troubleshooting steps which you have performed to resolve the issue?Tried to find where I can change the format to allow the conversion but the original option is no longer allowed.Considering that the duplication of all my titles
  on the Media Player 12 and also the fact that the option to convert to MP3 format for syncing devices is no longer supported and rather annoying I really wish I could downgrade back to previous versions since they actually worked until I upgraded to windows
  10 OS and it forced Media 12 I had single titles in my albums now I had 1 album with 24 song titles instead of 12.

I request you to try the steps below:

• Right click on Start menu.
• Select Control panel.
• Open troubleshooting.
• Click on View all on the left hand side pane.
• Select "Windows media player settings" and follow the steps.
• Check if this helps you.

You may try uninstalling and reinstalling the Graphics Card Drivers.

Step 1: Uninstall the Graphics Card
Drivers

• 
  Right click on the Start menu.
  
• 
  Click on “Device Manager” from that list.
  
• 
  Search for the Graphics Card
  from the device list, right click on it and then select “Uninstall”. On the un-installation window, if you have an option: “Delete the driver software for this device” you may select that and then remove the corrupted drivers
  from the computer.
  
• 
  Follow the on-screen instructions to complete it and then restart the computer if prompted.
  

After the restart, please go ahead with the next steps to install the latest drivers and check if that resolves the issue.



Step 2: Go to the Computer or Graphics Card
manufacturer’s website and search for the latest Windows 10 drivers available for the
Graphics Card model and then install it by following the instructions given in the website.

If your device and drivers are up to date, our next step is to run the troubleshooter for Windows Media player. You can follow the steps below:

• Copy and paste "msdt.exe -id WindowsMediaPlayerConfigurationDiagnostic"
  command using Search or Cortana and hit Enter.
  
• You can run the troubleshooter in normal mode by clicking on Next.
  
• Or, by selecting Advanced and uncheck "Apply repairs automatically" and follow the prompt.
