  1. Advanced App Settings sign in request opens with another account email and not my own and I...

Under Advanced app settings it has a "Sign in with your Microsoft account to continue app experiences across your devices." message that upon clicking the sign in button, it brings up as passcode/PIN to sign into another email that is not mine at all. It gives no options to change this. I am signed into my account overall yet its showing another email, not the one I am actually signed in with. This is what I get when trying to sign in.The redacted email is not mine and there's no switch accounts or change email button to use. If anyone knows why its doing this and how to fix this please let me

    :)

  3. App Store sign-in error, 0xD000000D

    Hi Suzanne,

There's a possibility that you are currently signed in on your computer using your local account. For us to sort this out, we suggest that you sign in with your Microsoft account instead. Follow these steps:

    • Open Settings > Accounts > Your email and accounts.
    • Select Sign in with a Microsoft account instead.
    • Follow the on-screen instructions.

Once signed in with your Microsoft account on your computer, try signing into the Windows Store app.

    Update us with the result.

    Regards.

    Secondary email account not opening

Might I suggest you open a free Gmail account and use that as an alternate. Then you can always sign into gmail with any browser and get email.

Outlook and Microsoft accounts can also be set up to text you a code so they know its you. Very quick and easy. You say you forget, they send code, you enter and log in.

If you make these changes in Microsoft account and can't verify yourself, due to lack of access to secondary account, MS will nag you each day you log in telling you that your security info has changed. This goes on for thirty days to ensure the real owner will see that the security info has been requested to changed.

To short circuit the thirty days phone your telco and ask how to sign into your mail account with a browser. Then open and deal with verification email.
