Windows 10: Advanced configuration of typing text suggestions such as add/remove items

Hi as far as I've been able to search the web, I've not found any possible way to fine-tune text/typing suggestions in Windows 10. All the info online seem to be simple guides for enabling/disabling the text suggestions & typing insights features and do not mention custom configuration of the suggestions themselves.


I'm wondering if there are any advanced config possibilities really, but specifically I'm looking to add items such as email addresses to my suggestions. I'm a developer and accustomed to using/breaking Insider preview builds so this post is definitely open to whatever tricks are out there...any and all registry/scripting/shell hacks are welcome.

Use the "show text suggestions as I type" feature without using the mouse

I just discovered the "Show text suggestions as I type" feature in Windows 10. I enabled it in the Settings application (via Devices\Typing, Hardware, Show text suggestions as I type).

I like the feature. I have discovered one small problem with it.

When you start typing a word, the list of suggestions are displayed as follows.





The above image shows the Notepad window containing the text "Hel" and the suggestions list containing the following three items.

• Hello
  
• Hell
  
• Help
  

The problem is that so far I have only been able to find one method of selecting an item in the suggestions list, to use the mouse. I would prefer to be able to make my selection using the keyboard.

Thank you for your suggestion but this did not help. It seems an option for 'Advanced sizing of text and other items' does not work. The item to 'Change only the Text size' is grayed out. Any ideas?

To enable text suggestion on your Lumia 640, you may follow these steps:

1. Go to Settings under your App list.

2. Search for Keyboard.

3. Tap the keyboard you're using to make changes.

4. Check the checkbox for "Suggest text".
