Windows 10: Advanced Micro Devices - Media - 10.0.1.19 driver will not update

Hello Microsoft community, I come to you with a problem I am having with updating a driver on my system. Basically, I have an outdated AMD High Definition Audio driver on my PC version 10.0.19041.1 I have downloaded the latest driver off of the Microsoft Update Catalog website which is an awesome sight as its easy to find new drivers. Anyways, when I go to update the driver manually, I get a message from Windows saying "The best drivers for your device are already installed" screenshot linked below this is not the case for me. If anyone could help me bypass this annoying issue, I'd be in

The Advanced Micro Devices, Inc driver update of AMD SMBus always fails to update and I get error code 80070103. Suggestions on how to update this, why this happens, and what this is?

Step 1: I suggest you to view in the Windows updates history, if there are any failed updates related to this driver updates.

Follow these steps to see which Windows updates history:

  Click on Advanced options under
  Windows Update.

  Click on View your update history.
