    Advanced System Repair?


    I found a lot garbage files on my Windows 10 PC. Downloaded Advanced System Repair and learned I have a ton of problems which M.S. is willing to repair once for free then in the future wants me to pay more money!

    Critical Service Failed - Automatic Repair and Advanced Options


    Update:
    Tried the Repair disk. Still back to "Your pc ran into a problem", "Preparing automatic repair" followed by Advanced Options which have been tried again.

    Would anyone recommend:
    • bootrec.exe /rebuildbcd
    • bootrec.exe /fixmbr
    • bootrec.exe /fixboot

    Otherwise, I have a bootable Win PE file waiting to be burned on to USB key, as suggested by other Forum user, but unsure what to do with it when (or if) it boots up the laptop.

    Programs not working


    In post 26 there were steps listed to fix the operating system corruption.
    Are you able to follow them?
    In post 29 was the suggested dism repair command.
