  1. Advice following SSD upgrade

I have a rather basic question and would be very grateful for any advice. I've recently installed an SSD to replacing my hard drive on a machine that I put together myself a few years ago and then completed a fresh install of Windows 10. Do I need to re-install the the software that came with my motherboard?

Am I correct in thinking that as everything appears to be working I should only be concerned with any utilities built into it that I might need?

    Many thanks

    SSD advice

    Hello,

The Samsung EVO series would always be my first suggestion for an SSD, so good choice IMO. In terms of upgrading, I would keep the HDD for extra storage in the system, especially for something like video files. One piece of advice I would give is consider and look around for options concerning transferring your data from the HDD to the SSD.
