Windows 10: Advice please, Infected warning in Edge varied web pages, scans clean

Hi,sorry for such a vague title, but it's such a vague thing that's going on, I use 4 web browsers trying to see what happens, but it only happens in Edge, my entire system is fully updated in every sense, including the latest released programs etc, so here goes.

I'm no slouch when it comes to security, but things are just not right, and haven't been for some time, after several clean reinstalls, using newly downloaded Windows direct from m$, using their media creation tool, and fresh downloaded program files, yet it keeps coming back, well 'IT' is all I can call it currently.

I'll start with the quick query, I am under the understanding that Windows no longer has the varied types, e.g. Windows 10 Pro x64\x86 and similar, are all now just Windows 10 x64\x86 ?

I had Windows 10 Pro x64 before this came into being (if I heard right), yet in all my reinstalls always installs the same version, when I download the media tool (afresh every time from m$), the drop down box only offers the tiered variants each time, so I select the version that I have the licence for, namely Pro, any advice as to this query ?

Next is the 'infection', the install is on 2 x 60gig SSD's in raid0, I break the raid, format, and recreate the raid0 on them before each install attempt, yet Edge every so often flags up infection warnings, I instantly close the page when it happens, I don't touch a single thing that comes up, just close the web page via the x on the tab, the sites are not dodgy or anything, well maybe I should say they are 'risky' if you believe newspaper sites don't lie lol, these days I do little more than email, shop and just generally surf what catches my interest, anyway I attach 2 screenshots of today's alerts.

No way to change the Home page in Edge web browser

  Click on the More actions (…) icon next to the feedback icon present on top right corner of the EDGE browser.
  
• 
  Click on Settings from the drop down menu.
  
• 
  Select A specific page or pages under
  open with.
  
• 
  Click on the option down to the
  A specific page or pages and select Custom from the drop down menu.
  
• 
  You can Enter a web address (which you want to set as home page) in the text box by clicking on
  + button.
  
• 
  Close the EDGE browser and open it again for the changes to take effect.

steps taken for infected Pc's.


I was hoping someone could give me a list of step by step instructions you use as a guide to clean virus, malware...etc. so I can keep my PC clean if it gets infected.
