Windows 10: Affected by Malware

I had been recently hacked by a trojan. My Social media accounts had been hacked i mean all the accounts logged in to web browser were hacked. I had even saved passwords but later i changed passwords of important accounts from mobile device.I removed it through my windows security defender.Now i am worried because after i removed the virus also Microsoft Safety scanner shows that i am infected with 2 files but after scanning completes it shows scan complete and no unwanted pua and trojans,spywares... were detected these it happened once more when i ran the scan. If it's really malware, you have to presume that it will, and it has. We don't know what type of malware is involved, or even if it really is malware in the first place. (The Mum only 'thinks' she has malware or a virus on her PC.)

Most people do not appreciate how sophisticated and crafty malware can be. Once a computer has been compromised by malware, it can no longer be trusted. You have to immediately stop using the computer and deal with the problem.

So the first step is to determine whether the PC has, in fact, been affected by malware.

Did our Epson printer get hacked?

Another question, is this on a home network or a work network? The steps @eidairaman1 listed are always a good first step. If this is on a work network you manage, I'd be much more concerned than the home one. It is possible someone is screwing with you, but malware could also be the culprit.
