    After 2 months my version is still downloading updates for 22h2. Whats going on


    I have installed clean Windows 11 installation this January 11 months ago.There is a new update that I am aware about, 23h2, that was released two months ago.Yet I still see that my OS version is 22h2 and it keeps downloading updates or 22h2.Whats going on? Will my OS update to 23h2 BEFORE Windows 12 releases next year?

    How to get the Windows 10 2022 Update version 22H2  

    If you can't install it from windows update you can try to install it manually, it's the same KB5015684 obtained with windows update.     What are the checksums/hashes for Windows 11 Version 22H2 ISO?

    If you want to download the ISO locally, use #2. To upgrade the OS, you can use #1 or #2.

    Regarding the commands for Windows 10, what errors are you seeing?

    Try the steps in this article.

    • Step 1) Mounting the WIM Image
    • Step 2) Query if an Enablement Package is installed
    • Step 3) UnMounting the WIM Image
    Edit: If "Package_for_KB5015684" is shown in the listing as "installed", then the ISO is a Windows 10 22H2 ISO.

    Feature update to Windows 10, version 22H2 Failed to install on ‎9/24/‎2023

    I recently did a clean install of windows 10 pro which has been fine since 2017. The only issue is installing the feature update 22h2. It goes through the download and install but after the restart it says it failed to install and it starts all over again.

    I found a similar issue titled "Feature update to Windows 10, version 22H2 Failed to install on ‎3/10/‎2023 0x8007001f"

    I followed the steps listed in the techs response however, I was unable to rename the folders in step 2 or resolve the issue.

    Can you advise please. TIA
