Windows 10: After 2 months my Win11 OS is still downloading updates for 22h2. Whats going on

I have installed clean Windows 11 installation this January 11 months ago.There is a new update that I am aware about, 23h2, that was released two months ago.Yet I still see that my OS version is 22h2 and it keeps downloading updates titled as "Cumulative Update for Windows 11 22h2".Opening CMD -> Typing winver opens a window informing about version 22h2.Whats going on? Will my OS update to 23h2 BEFORE Windows 12 releases next year?No, I do not want to update manually. I want my Windows Update to function as it intended - update my windows version to the latest one. Automatically.

No, I do not want to update manually. I want my Windows Update to function as it intended - update my windows version to the latest one. Automatically.

Every time when I try to update Windows from Win11 21H21 to Win11 22H2, it never succeeds. When I check Event Viewer, I get the logs below:

- Commit Failure: Windows failed to commit the following update with error 0x800700B7: Windows 11, version 22H2

- Installation Failure: Windows failed to install the following update with error 0x80242016: Windows 11, version 22H2.

"



My laptop is a Lenovo IdeaPad 5i.



I've already tried the steps below, but I'm still getting the same error:



# I Used Windows update troubleshooter to check the issue



# I Ran the following commands:

net stop wuauserv

net stop cryptSvc

net stop bits

net stop msiserver

ren C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.old

# I Unplugged USB peripherals and retried the installation process

# I Downloaded standalone package manually and tried to install Win11 22H2 using ISO Image
