Windows 10: After a lot of troubleshooting and googling I am finally posting it here. It's a problem...

The problem with audio is that first of all, when I plug in the headphone it doesn't recognize it as a headphone but instead as a speaker and when I play games on it or any audio it sounds weird. I am so sorry I don't have a word for it but I will try to describe the kind of sound I am getting, it's like when we plug the earphones in 3.5mm jack but it's not fully plugged in and we get kinda muffled sound, I am getting the same kinda sound from the headphones.

Now the story,

So, I had a USB gaming headset and it used to work like a charm but it broke so I had to get a new headphone. This time I decided to go with Razer Kraken X which works on 3.5mm jack. First, I had the mentioned problem with Kraken and I thought the headphone is bad so I returned it and bought m20x it also has the same problem.

I have tried reinstalling the driver but it doesn't work.
My configurations:
Intel 8700k
Motherboard MSI MPG gaming pro carbon AC
GPU RTX 2060

The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.

• What are the troubleshooting steps offered by Google?

As a work around, we suggest you to uninstall Google from the downloaded location and reinstall and check for the issue.

Vista Pre-SP1 vs. Vista SP1

I've been Windows Updating for two straight days and I finally saw SP1. If you want to troubleshoot it, follow these steps:

• Show hidden updates
• Manually install any failed updates (google the KB_____ and install from the windows site)
• Make sure everything in Device Manager is good to go

I had to do step two for like 4 or 5 updates to be able to see SP1.

Any other benchmarks you guys want to see? I might try PCMark05 (I think it works on Vista).
