Windows 10: After a recent Microsoft update, Bluetooth stopped working entirely.

Issue: My Bluetooth stopped working entirely after a recent Windows update. It was functioning perfectly before the update. Symptoms: - Bluetooth troubleshooter states: "Device does not have Bluetooth. Bluetooth is not available on this device."- Bluetooth toggle is missing from Bluetooth & other devices settings.- Bluetooth devices appear grayed out and show "Bluetooth is turned off."- Bluetooth icon is missing from the notification bar. Troubleshooting steps attempted none resolved the issue: - Restarted the computer multiple times.- Ran the Bluetooth troubleshooter.- Checked fo

Microsoft Sculpt Comfort Mouse - stops working

Recently after an update to Windows 10, my Microsoft Sculpt Comfort Mouse stops working.

After looking at some posts. The following steps seem to work.

In Device Manager, under Bluetooth uninstall devices, then under actions Scan for hardware changes.

This seems to work and the mouse works again however, these steps are repeated over the course of the day as the mouse stops working randomly.

I also notice that under other devices I have a number of devices that seem to be unknown





I also have a Microsoft phone 950xl and 640 however these drivers are for other nokia phones which we do not have.

Can someone suggest a permanent fix to (a) the Bluetooth mouse not needing to be reset the way I have been doing this (as listed above) and (b) a fix for these other devices.

The laptop I use is a Dell Inspiron 15 - 7000 Series

 

Bluetooth Stopped Working after A windows 11 update

I think this is an issue Microsoft have accidentally introduced in an update or something recently. Sometime in the past 5 days Windows 11 bluetooth has simply stopped working for many people (lots of posts on forums, reddit, elsewhere). I've tried all the suggested - update driver, rollback driver, update windows, rollback windows, restarting multiple times, disable/enable bluetooth, but nothing has worked.

My bluetooth stopped connecting to devices on Windows 7 - 64bit, and I suspect it's due to an update. I don't know which one it is and, even if I did, I wouldn't be able to uninstall it because recent updates aren't listed on the "uninstall updates" list
