Windows 10: After an update had been uninstalled, does it still show in the list of updates?

I uninstalled KB5051987, it no longer is offered in the uninstall list, but is continues to appear in the installed update list

Motim, Nobody has suggested that you do. The references to the uninstall list were merely about using it as a convenient method of seeing a list of updates. The list you are looking at within Settings, Updates often loses entries. Don't worry about it. Don't even bother looking at it. It's pretty useless. If you want to see a list of updates then look at the uninstall list. If an update is not shown there then just accept that a later update has removed it from the list because it has become uninstallable, overtaken by events. In a few cases, updates are given their own entry in the Programs & features list itself. You do not have a problem. Denis

 

Who has seen this vista update error

When you go to Windows vista update and it tell you to update a driver that you have already updated. Then it says failed to update and gives you the error code that tell you that you already have a never version than that. WTF? Why in the world would it be trying to updated something with an older driver. Well the only way to get it out of your windows update list is to go uninstall what ever that driver is then run the update and install it. Then run the newer drivers again.

Well I still can't get the Nivida Network Bridge to disappear out of the list. I uninstall the one in device manager and go to the update and before it's even done with that. Vista is automatically installing a newer version than is in the Vista update list.......
