Windows 10: After an update, my computer is running ridiculously slow without my resources being taken up.

So uhhhhh i hadn't been on my computer for like two days, so i decided to update it, i turned it back on launched a game and got like 10 fps, my computer is currently struggling to keep up with my typing, and i have an i5 gtx1050 16gb of ram, and like %8 cpu usage. I honestly have no clue why its doing this, help would be greatly appreciated.

What a STUPID response! It's ridiculous that an update which requires driver updates does not update those drivers as well or notify the user which drivers are outdated.
