Completely lost internet connection

So I randomly lost all internet connection on my desktop PC through Ethernet and WiFi. All other devices work on the network except for the PC. I have tried all steps I’ve found through google to fix it but it hasn’t worked. I honestly have no clue what to do.

Intel i5 6500
Gtx 1060
Msi b150m gaming pro mobo

 

PC Internet connection

After recovering from a corrupted win 10 1803 update I have an unusual "bug". I restored win 10 to the previous build and subsequently lost my internet connection. I couldnt get an ip address from my modem. I downloaded the 1803 update to a USB and did the
update, keeping personal files and apps. PC runs fine and I have an internet connection. However when I reboot the computer to finish installing KB4284835 I loose the internet connection. The ethernet wont get an ip address from the modem. ("Ethernet doesn't
have a valid IP configuration"). I have tried all suggestions I could find on the internet to no avail. Other computers connect to the same network via wifi or the same ethernet connection and pc will connect using Ubuntu The only way to get the internet connection
is to update via usb and don't reboot the pc.

Any suggestions.
