Hi, I'm Adriano from Italy.Recently i've been having a lot of storage issues on my system and decided to purchase and install a new M2 SSd drive on my machine. Upon using Acronis software to clone my system from a normal Sata SSD to the new one everything has been going great except from one thing: i can safely turn off and turn on my computer and boots up great, but i can't restart it from the restart option in the start menu. The most interesting thing is that as you restart it, it tries to boot a couple times on itself, until it gets to a point where the screen turns blue, but not just any b

it. Then saving a large Excel sheet wouldn´t take ages as it does now (on my E61 anyway), but just a few seconds...

How to clone a hard drive?

I'm a little confused about one thing with this guide.

If my existing HDD is unplugged, and the only thing plugged in is my new, blank, SSD...where is the system image being stored for Windows to restore from?

Edit: I missed the part where it says you'll need an extra HDD to do this, my bad. Do you know if an external HDD would work to store the system image on?
