After coming out of standby sometimes, I end up with 3 copies of my primary display.

I have dual displays, and this is an example of what happens when coming out of standby. There are 3 copies of my primary screen. Only the top one is functional in that I can interact with it. The only applications running in this case were Lightroom 6 and Windows Explorer. Restarting Explorer only clears the open folders, but the 3 copies of the display remain. I have to reboot to return the system to normal. One thought is that this might be a problem with the graphics card, which is fully up to date driver-wise.What might be causing something like this? It's not an every day thing, but is ve

  3. How do I make games open on the primary display?

I have 3 monitors on a nvidia GTX660Ti, with the latest drivers, on windows 10, upgraded from win7, on a PC that I have been gaming on for quite some time now. The hardware itself has been an excellent gaming rig up until the windows upgrade and/or the
nvidia driver upgrade, but now a number of my games will not start on the primary display, they start on the first display in the list, which is not marked as primary. Both the windows display settings and the nvidia control panel have my central monitor
    identified as the primary display.

    • Has anybody encountered this behavior?
    • Is it likely to be windows 10 related or decided by the nvidia driver?
    • Any suggestions on getting this to behave properly, like it used to, without requiring me to disable the other displays to get the primary to be used?

Triple display. How to quickly turn off two and leave primary active?

Hi all, so I've got three monitors and I'd like to be able to turn off/on two of them with some kind of script because I see no easy way within the display properties.

    I see the following options:

Duplicate desktop on 1 and 3
Duplicate desktop on 2 and 3
    Extend desktop to this display

My primary monitor is the one listed as #3 which is actually in the middle.
Any way to have something like "show only on 3" ?

    Any suggestions welcome.
