Windows 10 default apps are not active on machines that are on Domain

    Dear Team ,

We recently upgraded all the machines to windows 10 but all the default apps(mail.grove, store, photoes, movies and tv ........

whenever i click on it it brings a message that the app cant open using a builtin system administrator account.

How can people use these apps when machines are on a Domain?

After connecting machine account to domain, default app associations cannot survive logoff...

Assign Default File Associations to Existing Domain Users

As the title states, I'm looking to set file associations for the users of my organization. The one app in particular is Adobe, as with the most recent Windows 10 Feature update it changed the file association to MS Edge. Unfortunately with 200 users is
very time consuming to hit each and every machine to set file associations.

I've looked into setting file associations using Group Policy and pushing the associations by using the .XML file but when running my test my results were null. Nothing would change with the default apps. Further research showed others having the same issues
and I want to say that using the GPO method only worked for NEW users who's computer had not been added to the domain yet. This would set the file associations but still allow the user to set/change file associations (Default Apps) when they wanted or worse
yet, another feature update to change the settings.

I've also tried the powershell method. I extracted my file associations XML file, change my default apps and then ran the powershell script. Default apps stayed the same.

Is anyone able to show me the light? My users windows 10 build ranges from 1607 - the latest 1709.

    Thanks
