    After downloading Windows 10 on laptop, no longer can stream video on tv


    I was streaming Directv just fine, until I downloaded Windows 10 on my Samsung laptop. When I click on a channel, it will attempt to download but then the screen goes black. Please help!

    Thanks for the reply.

    I didn't upgrade Windows, new laptop had Windows 10 installed.

    I have followed these steps but no luck, driver softwares were upto date so no upgrade done here.

    I will tell you the whole story. I was watching movie on Windows Store & wanted to stream move to apple tv, but there was no option.

    I think I can connect iTunes to Apple TV & stream itunes videos to apple tv.

    So the issue is how to stream movies/videos (outside itunes) to apple tv?

    Some Google searches results indicated that there are known issues with Windows 10 & Apple TV connectivity & I may need to download some external software for this.

    Do you have any other suggestion?

    Upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10 and now I cannot stream video to my TV

    I've never had a problem streaming video from my Windows 7 laptop to my Sony LED TV, but as soon as I upgraded to Windows 10 my tv no longer sees a media server. When I go to Media Streaming Options I have the tv selected to be allowed to access to my
    laptop. What am I doing wrong?

    Hi. I am running windows 10 and want to stream the video on my PC with my TV which are both on the same network.
    I had used Samsung smart view but even that has stopped since I updated to 10.
    I have tried to add the TV to my home group but that doesn`t work either.
    Any suggestions on the simplest way to stream from PC to TV.
