Windows 10: After factory reset, my Dell Windows 10 computer now has a sign on option for OTHER USER...

After doing a factory reset, my computer turns on and Im asked for a USER NAME and PASSWORD for "Other User". There is no other user and I cannot log on at all. I tried to use other options by using my microsoft email and password and the computer says that information is incorrect. At the start button, the only option I have is to SLEEP, RESTART or SHUTDOWN. There is no option to select USER. Please help? How do I unlock my computer????

There is not much to do than again factory reset your computer.

Dell SupportAssist OS Recovery starts automatically if Windows will not startup. The recovery environment allows you to diagnose hardware issues, repair issues, back up files, and restore factory settings. You can start the recovery environment at any time.
Verify the list of systems on which Dell SupportAssist OS Recovery is supported.

You should able to factory reset with Windows 10 Installation DVD. You can create Windows 10 installation DVD/USB with Windows 10 Media Creation Tool.

 

Factory Reset Win 7 (without disc)

Download an ISO of the Avira AV boot CD, burn it on your own computer, and then boot from that CD on your mom's computer and run a cleanup.

Seriously, you should just download a Windows disc and format the laptop. Best and easiest course of action.

If you are incapable, or uncomfortable with following any of the recommendations on how to restore the laptop, then I recommend you take it to your local IT guy and ask him to do it for you. Sometimes the best of us have to visit a ripoff merchant to get something fixed, or even just tested...
