Windows 10: After factory resetting my pc, my keyboard and mouse do not work for the welcome screen.

I have already tried several different solutions for this. I've attempted to put it into safe mode by either resetting it or using the power button. neither method has worked. i've tried making sure the USB thing was enabled, and it was. The keyboard and mouse work for everything BUT the welcome screen. They work for pressing enter and stopping the usual startup of the pc, and for going into advanced settings from there, and i have tried multiple methods that i found on the internet, but nothing has worked.

• Are you performing a factory reset on a laptop or a desktop?
• Is this the first time you perform a factory reset on your device?
• What troubleshooting steps have you done so far to resolve your concern?

In the meantime, if you're working on a desktop, we suggest that you try to use a PS2 keyboard just to bypass the installation process. Once Windows is up and running, you may now plug your mouse and keyboard to initialize Windows to detect these devices.

Mouse & Keyboard stopped working after reset.

My keyboard and mouse aren't working after I reset my pc. I tried to reset my pc of the malware I got. In result I reseted my pc and my keyboard and mouse stop working. My mouse and keyboard works when i'm in BIOS settings or that blue screen repair thing. I tried going to safe mode but it doesn't work there too. I tried factory reset the pc completely and the mouse and keyboard still doesn't work.

You will need at least one of the two devices to factory reset the PC.

Have you tried checking if the mouse/keyboard works in the recovery environment?

If not try booting into it by these steps :

Press and hold the power button to shut down the system and power it on again when it shuts down. But instead of letting it boot press and hold the power button as soon as you see the boot logo on the screen.

Repeat this shut down and start up until you see a preparing automatic repair screen (it will take 3 or 4 tries)

The system will restart in the Windows Recovery Environment mode.

On the Choose an option screen, select Troubleshoot then click on Reset this PC

Choose the option you wish and reset the pc from here if either of the input devices work here.
