After Fall 2020 update, can't run apps, Missing C++ component

I've been trying to resolve this issue for over a month, and pray that someone will be able to help.

My computer worked wonderfully. I updated to latest version, and now when I try to launch certain apps/games, I get a various fault messages. Primarily it is one of two things.

First, launching many games, I get a "resource unavailable" message for 2015-2019 C++ it will vary as to which of the three is named, 15,17,19. When I download them and try to install, uninstall/reinstall, I get an error each time saying the resource could not be found.

The other message I get is when trying to launch Firefox Edge works fine, saying I have a missing file VCRUNTIME140_1.dll.

I don't know if these are related to one another.

I tried to revert back to previous version, and successfully did, but this error persisted. I just brought the system forward again, hoping that it might catch whatever was missing, but the issue remains.

I did see where with certain C++ runtime elements, it was suggested that in order to update them, the original file is needed to properly remove them. I don't even know how to find the original, nor what program or app originally installed it/them.

Really hope someone can provide some wise guidance and a resolution. Thanks so much in advance, and please let me know any information which you would need to diagnose. Attaching a few small pics showing errors.

Live tiles missing after updating to a Fall Creators Build

Same problem, apps missing after Fall update. It's a very common problem, it seems. For now I can't find solutions on the net.

To update the Store apps list as someone suggested doesn't work.

Microsoft have to release something to fix the bug.
