Windows 10: After fingerprint registration Windows 10 doesn't ask for fingerprint or password on startup.

Hi, I am facing a problem from when I bought my new laptop. I have the latest version of windows 10 pro. My laptop name is Lenovo Thinkbook 15 gen2 and Device ID is CF4B4B95-D049-41EB-B79E-3E3AA28B8A90. I try many things to solve this problem but I didn't solve this problem. The problem is when I register my fingerprint windows 10 didn't ask me for a fingerprint or even a password, If I remove the fingerprint then every time windows 10 asks me to put a password on startup. I didn't know why Windows 10 didn't ask for a fingerprint or password when I register fingerprint on my laptop and when I

Fingerprints and Aluminum

Dug up an old Antec micro-atx case of mine. Crafted in aluminum, covered in fingerprints. I looked closely at the surface, and it looks like the oils left from touching the aluminum caused some type reaction on the aluminum? Like the fingerprints are now 'part of' the aluminum LOL. Rubbing with my t-shirt doesn't get them off. I even tried using isopropyl alcohol to remove the fingerprints and failed miserably... they're still here. I've seen a lot of aluminum cases in the case mod gallery covered in fingerprints left from the build *Bang Head :banghead:

What makes these fingerprints stick to the aluminum? Please share with me some methods of removing fingerprints from aluminum heh *Toast :toast:

 

Can I use a Fingerprint Security Reader with NO Win 10 Password?

But he doesn't want to use the fingerprint reader to sign in to Windows with. He wants the fingerprint reader to sign into LastPass with, which stores passwords for websites. He would go to a website requiring a password, LastPass then asks for a master password, which he would swipe his finger to provide, then LastPass provides the password to the website. As far as I know, there is no requirement to use the fingerprint reader to sign into Windows with in order to use the fingerprint reader with LastPass.

I'm not sure how Step 2 is supposed to fix my issue, I want Windows to request fingerprint/password on startup and on wake up, isn't setting that option to never supposed to get the opposite result?
