Windows 10: After Flashing BIOS, I enabled Secure Boot so I can update to Windows 11, and now my PC is...

I have a Gigabyte B460m Aorus Pro, The other components are: Intel i5-10400F, 2 Sticks of 8GB Kingston Fury RAM, a GTX 1650, I can't remember the PSU. and I haven't updated the BIOS until I got it. I finally decided to, and after updating from F4 to F8 directly. It opened BIOS perfectly fine, I enabled secure boot then Saved and Exited. Now the PC is stuck in a Boot loop where the POST test cycles between VGA, CPU then DRAM before going back to VGA, never making it to the boot process. It never shows up on screen, I don't have the option to go to BIOS, nevermind getting into Windows 10. So f

I have a few follow up questions if that's ok!

I have gone into BIOS settings before to enable TPM 2.0 and enable secure boot but as you said the PC did not boot up and I had to short one of the components of the PC to reset to default settings before,

What would the step by step process be to update to windows 11?

I was told before to enable TPM in BIOS then use a USB with Windows 11 on it to install it. Is there a simpler way?

 

Secure boot isn't turning on in HP laptop (windows 11)

I understand the frustration you’re facing with Secure Boot on your HP laptop. Let’s troubleshoot this issue step by step:

1. Load HP Factory Default Keys:
   
   • Go into the BIOS settings.
     
   • Navigate to System Configuration > Boot Options.
     
   • Look for an option to Load HP Factory Default Keys. If available, select it.
     
   • Check if Secure Boot becomes available after doing this.
     
2. Disable Fast Startup:
   
   • Boot into your operating system (Windows 11).
     
   • Open Settings.
     
   • Go to Updates & Security > Recovery.
     
   • Click Restart Now under “Advanced startup.”
     
   • Wait for your PC to boot into the system recovery menu.
     
   • Select Troubleshoot and then choose Advanced options.
     
   • Finally, select UEFI Firmware Settings.
     
3. Check BIOS Mode:
   
   • Ensure that your Windows 11 installation is in UEFI mode, not legacy mode.
     
   • If your notebook’s BIOS mode is set to legacy, you won’t be able to enable Secure Boot. You may need to reinstall Windows 11 from an EFI boot source.
     
4. Reset BIOS settings to Default:
   
   • Reset BIOS settings may restore secure boot settings to normal factory state.
     

Regarding TPM 2.0:

• Your PC may not have TPM (Trusted Platform Module) support, which is required for Windows 11.
  
• Additionally, Windows 11 requires an Intel 8th gen core processor or newer.

Enabling Secure Boot to update to Windows 11

I wish to update to Windows 11. PC Health check says I need to enable secure boot. I am running an AMD Ryzen 75800X3D on a ROG STRIX X470F GAMING motherboard. BIOS is up to date. UEFI mode is enabled in advanced BIOS settings as well as fTPM. However, when navigating to Update & Securtiy> Recovery > Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > UEFI Firmware settings to enable secure boot, UEFI Firmware settings does not appear. Wondering if I can get some help enabling secure boot so I can update to Win11. Thanks Let me know if any additional information is needed.
